Abstract

The objective of this research is 1) to study the opinionson teaching English at Phra Pariyattidhamma School. 2) To study analytically reviews the guidelines for developing curriculum and teaching English at Phra Pariyattidhamma School and 3) to analyzes the network of participation contributing to upgrading and developing the curriculum and teaching English at Phra Pariyattidhamma school. The quantitative data was obtained from 1,170 junior and senior level students of PhraPariyattidhammaSchool around.The objective of this research is 1) to study the opinionson teaching English at Phra Pariyattidhamma School. 2) To study analytically reviews the guidelines for developing curriculum and teaching English at Phra Pariyattidhamma School and 3) to analyzes the network of participation contributing to upgrading and developing the curriculum and teaching English at Phra Pariyattidhamma school. The quantitative data was obtained from 1,170 junior and senior level students of PhraPariyattidhammaSchool around.The qualitative data was obtained from15 scholars and school executives by interviewing.
The result of the research found that: evaluating achievement of the current education is not suitable for Phra Pariyattidhamma School and the ability of its students. In the aspect of learning English students have poor English proficiency from the beginning of their studies. Whereas the problem in the aspect of teachers found that there are not enough regular teachers, teachers do not have teaching English qualifications, lack experience, lack techniques how to use information technology for teaching Curriculum Development and teaching English at Phra Pariyattidhamma school included using educational technologies to promote English language studies, developing their English teachers, developing extra curriculum activities, and developing teaching activities continuously. Regarding the network of participation towards upgrading curriculum development and teaching English at Phra Pariyattidhamma School the results found that there are important organizations and networks in 3 levels for upgrading the curriculum and teaching English: 1) the policy level 2) the academic level and 3) the schools and communities level.
