The Development of an Elderly Personal Financial Management Curriculum for Working Age Adults in Laung-Neau Sub-district Municipality, Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract
The objectives of the research article were to 1) Study the problems and needs of a pre-elder. 2) Develop an elder personal financial management curriculum for a pre-elder. 3) Evaluate an elder personal financial management curriculum for a pre-elder. Using participatory action research and using qualitative analysis process.
The results of this research were:
1. Awareness in preparation of an elder personal finance for a pre-elder in communities were low. Meanwhile, a group of pre-elder had a need the knowledge of savings for a elderly and model of saving money for the elderly in the community.
2. The community members had shared and learnt together for determining an elder personal financial management curriculum for a pre-elder, consisted of five main categories training period of 8 hours.
3. The results of the curriculum evaluation after the training showed that the curriculum was implemented in accordance with the objectives. Training participants had knowledge understanding and awared of the importance.
