Abstract

Discipline is important for the general public as it is a practice leading to good conducts. Behavior is the expression of being trained. Discipline in Buddhism is important to the Buddhist assembly as well. The Buddhist assembly will be good because they have discipline. Whenever they has lost the discipline, they are not a good person. Discipline in Mangalasutta which is the Buddhist scriptures describes the discipline of both the monk and the lay people. The Buddhist scripture is very important and a valuable book of Buddhism. It should be explained to the society to benefit the education and goodness in the society.
