Guidelines for the Development of the Standard Operation on Administration of the National Early Childhood Development Center under the Local Administrative Organization in Pha Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the current situation and the desirable conditions of the standard operation on administration of the National Early Childhood Development Center, 2) to study the needs of the standard operation on administration of the National Early Childhood Development Center, 3) and to study guidelines for the standard operation on administration of the National Early Childhood Development Center under the local administrative organization in Pha Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. This research was a mixed method research between quantitative research and qualitative research.The sample group consisted of administrators, heads of CDC, teacher, committees of CDC with the total number 348 people using stratified random sampling method. The research instrument was 5 rating scale questionnaire with the validity coefficient (IOC) = 0.67-1.00 and reliability of the whole questionnaire at 0.95. The statistics used to analyze data comprised percentage, frequency, means, means, and modified priority needs index, Median and Inter Quartile Range.
The research results were found that:
1. The current situation of the standard operation was at a moderate level of practice, when considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest level of practice.
2. Needs of the standard operation on administration were found that the highest needs were the promotion of family and community participation.
3. The standard operation approaches should be managed as follows: 1) on the aspect of promotion of family and community participation, 2) on the aspect of management for promoting health and learning, 3) on aspect of systematic management, 4) on aspect of personnel administration, 5) on aspect of environmental management for safety.
