Emphasis on Dharma Principles for Reasons for the Faith of the Rubber and Oil Farming Community, Thung Luang Subdistrict, Wiang Sa District, Surat Thani Province

Abstract

This research the objectives were to; 1) study the gambling situation of the rubber and oil palm plantation community in Thung Luang Subdistrict Wiang Sa District, 2) to study the factors affecting gambling education, 3) to study the impact of gambling on the community and 4) to integrate religious principles as a guideline for solving gambling problems in the rubber and palm oil farming community, Thung Luang Sub-district, Wiang Sa District Surat Thani Province by using a qualitative study method Descriptive analysis of data.
The results showed that:
1. The gambling situation of the rubber and oil palm plantation community in Thung Luang Subdistrict Wiang Sa District Surat Thani Province there are various forms of gambling. It was found that underground lottery is the most common gambling in Thung Luang Subdistrict.
2. Factors that resulted in positive attitudes towards gambling in the rubber and oil palm farming communities. See that gambling is a relaxation. The effects of gambling in the community were found to affect themselves such as property loss health, reliability create debt affect close friends and also affects the family.
3. Gambling affects Loss of property, health, trust including creating liabilities and also affects the family.
4. Results of integrating religious principles as a guideline for solving gambling problems on the import factor, it was found that the action plan of integrating Dharma principles (5 Precepts and Abaya Muk 6) is appropriate both in terms of the nature of the plan. Time spent and volunteers on process factors found that the implementation of this plan no complicated process can be applied. In terms of productivity factors, it was found that the integration of moral principles 5 and vices 6 had positive effects on those who practice both themselves, their families and society.
