An Approach of Motivate of the Pali Learner Based on 4 Iddhipada in the 9 Ecclesiastical Region

Abstract
The purposes of this study were 1) to study the problem state in Pali teaching and learning of Pali learners of the Nine Ecclesiastical Regional Governor, 2) to study The purposes of this study were 1) to study the problem state in Pali teaching and learning of Pali learners of the Nine Ecclesiastical Regional Governor, 2) to study the importance of 4 Iddhipāda to motivate Pali learners, and 3) to propose the way to motivate Pali learners of the nine ecclesiastical regional governor. This study was a qualitative research. Interview was aused as research tool to collect data. The informants were school principals, teachers, monks, and novices, who were studying Pariyatthidhamma Program, gained by Purposive Sampling. To analyze the data was by Descriptive Analysis. The research findings were as the following: The problem state in Pali teaching and learning of Pali learners was deficient in unity of educational management, responsible person in administration, learner fulfillment in educational management. In this regard, the problem was adherent to former custom that the Sangha was Pali Sanam Luang that managed the education for oneself because it proceeded Pali section in Phrapariyutthudhamma education, which controlled to specify the policy, curriculum, and studied result, and national office of Buddhism was responsible for these to certify the certificate of Pali section in Pariyatthidhamma education. Teaching and learning management was under control of the head of an institute and Pali section in provincial Pariyatthidhamma education; so it affected to the education to be disorder and budget allocation and curriculum development was not for long term and up to date that was not as new generation needs. The way to motivate Pali learners of the nine ecclesiastical regional governor according to 4 Iddhipāda was to do by accommodating a good welfare to support the learners by offering educational instruments, scholarships, and rewards for the one who got the prize of 1, 2, and 3, trainees who passed the pre-test with the prize of 1, 2, and 3 as well as for who passed Pali Sanam Luang with garments, customer goods, sympathy ritual and field trip for both leaners and teachers. Moreover, the head of Pali Sanam Luang should adapt Pali curriculum to have general subjects and undergraduate subjects to academic variety in order not to be bored with old subjects. As for the evaluation of studied result, the style as in the universal system should be attached for being able to choose the test to be a model to motivate learners.
