บทคัดย่อ

ครูเป็นวิชาชีพชั้นสูงและเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการผลิตบุคลากรที่มีประสิทธิภาพต่อการพัฒนาประเทศชาติในอนาคต ครูมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการปลูกฝังความรู้ความคิดและจิตใจให้แก่นักเรียนเพื่อที่จะได้เติบโตเป็นพลเมืองดีและมีประสิทธิภาพ ครูจึงต้องนำหลักพุทธธรรมมาเป็นหลักปฏิบัติตนเพื่อเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีทั้งกาย วาจา ใจ เป็นกัลยาณมิตรของนักเรียนและสำนึกอยู่เสมอว่าเป็น ครูต้องมี “ความเป็นครู” ต้องเป็น “ต้นแบบ” ของผู้เรียนทุกเรื่อง เป็นแบบอย่างแก่ศิษย์และบุคคลทั่วไป หลักพุทธธรรมสำคัญที่ครูควรยึดถือเป็นแบบอย่างคือ ๑) หลักกัลยาณมิตรธรรม ๗ ประกอบด้วย น่ารัก น่าเคารพ น่าเจริญใจ รู้จักพูดให้ได้ผล ทนต่อถ้อยคำ แถลงเรื่องล้ำลึกได้ ไม่ชักนำในทางเสียหายและ ๒)หลัก พรหมวิหาร ๔ เป็นธรรมที่ผู้ใหญ่คือครู พึงปฏิบัติต่อผู้น้อยคือลูกศิษย์ ครูต้องรักและเมตตาศิษย์เอาใจใส่ช่วยเหลือส่งเสริมให้กำลังใจในการศึกษาเล่าเรียนแก่ศิษย์เสมอด้วยความปรารถนาในอันที่จะก่อให้เกิดผลดีต่อบุคคลอื่น

นอกจากจะพัฒนาตนให้มีความรอบรู้และเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีแล้ว ครูยังต้องเป็นผู้ให้ ผู้เติมเต็ม มีความเมตตาต่อศิษย์ เป็นผู้สร้างแรงบันดาลใจ นำพาลูกศิษย์สู่ความเป็นคนดี คนเก่ง อยู่ในสังคมอย่างมีความสุขและเป็นมนุษย์ที่สมบูรณ์

Abstract

Teacher is a profession and a major power staff in the production of effective personnel to develop the nation in the future. Teachers are very important in cultivating the knowledge, the ideas and minds of students so they can grow to be good and effective citizens. The teachers must take above Buddhist doctrines to practice for being a good model of practical, speech and mind, and a good friend of students. Besides they should act always according to their conscience that teachers must have the teacher spirit, and must be the model in any ways of students and general public. The important Buddhist doctrines that the teachers should apply to act in a way of a good model of society are as follows: 1) Kalyanamitra-dhamma 7 consist of lovable, estimable, adorable, being a counselor, being a patient listener, able to deliver deep discourses, never exhorting groundlessly, and 2) Brahmavihara 4 are dhamma superior; teachers, should apply to treat inferior; students, with loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity. Teachers must love and have mercy on students, help and encourage them in their study as well as make them to have the goodwill to each other.

Besides knowledge development and being a good model of practical, teachers must be givers and fulfillers who are generous with students as well as inspiring to treat students to be good, proficient, living with others in society happily, and complete human.
