Abstract

This aim of this paper was to apply Buddhist philosophy in the sustainable business operation because the current business operation is aimed at seeking profit without moral consideration of rightness and wrongness and is for the purpose of encroaching on other people. Therefore, to achieve business operations rightly according to the ethical principles and sustainability in business operations, it is necessary to adopt the principles of right livelihood (sammā ājīva) to be a guideline for conducting the business for the benefits of oneself and society.
