Nursing care of Pre-extensively drug-resistant TB (Pre-XDR-TB): Two comparative case studies

Abstract

     This study was a case study with the objective of studying the progression of rheumatic diseases through nursing diagnosis. Plan nursing action and nursing outcomes in patients with severe multidrug-resistant tuberculosis who receive services at the tuberculosis clinic. Outpatient nursing work Nam Yuen Hospital, 2 cases, case 1 between October 2019 and May 2021, case 2 between October 2020 and September 2022, by collecting data From taking the history of the patient and relatives Medical records combined with participant observation Follow-up information for visiting patients' homes, reviewing information with experts Multidisciplinary team and the district tuberculosis network has adopted the 7 ASPECTS principles as a framework for patient care.
     The results of the study revealed that the two patients, Case 1, were diagnosed with extrapulmonary tuberculosis and diabetes. Pulmonary tuberculosis did not improve and was sent for additional testing and it was found to be Pre-XDR-TB. The patient and family had knowledge. and understanding of disease and treatment received The aim is to heal and recover from the disease. As for the second patient, the patient had been sick with tuberculosis in 2016, took all the medicine, was cured, and in 2020 was diagnosed as Pre-XDR-TB along with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
