NURSING CARE FOR SEPTIC SHOCK:CASE STUDY 2 CASE

This research was case study aimed to compare nursing care of patients with Septic shock who were admitted to the inpatient department at Kuchinarai Crown Prince Hospital after receiving emergency department services. The study instruments consisted of (1) Medical record (2) History taking (3) Observation . The collected data were analyzed by comparing Health pattern ,Pathology,Signs and Symptoms ,Treatment ,Nursing Diagnosis and Nursing care in Critical phase Continuing phase and Discharge phase.
The Study findings show that in Case 1, a 57-year-old Thai male patient presented with fever and body pain for three days. He had a history of wade.He was diagnosed with Severe Leptospirosis, and Septic Shock. He received treatment following the sepsis protocol and discharged home.In Case 2, a 67-year-old Thai female presented with fever, abdominal pain, and diarrhea for three days. She was diagnosed with Enteritis and Septic Shock. She received treatment following the sepsis protocol. and discharged home.
