Abstract

The objective of this study was to compare case studies of ischemic stroke patients. And to use the results of the study to develop a nursing practice guideline for ischemic stroke patients Select patients with ischemic stroke and embolism. Two persons were admitted to the hospital ward in Kalasin Hospital between October 2019 - February 2020.

             RESULTS:  1st case were a male Thai patient, ages 52, presented with seizure and left weakness for 1 hours. The final diagnosis was Ischemic stroke  due to rt-PA . After receiving rt-PA, complications were found with cerebral hemorrhage. The patient has swallowing problems and weakness.Received treatment from observe neuro sign  a rehabilitation doctor and Intermediate care.Patient clinical improve and discharge to home. The final diagnosis Acute Cerebral infraction with Hemorrhagic transformation The admission duration was 7 days. 2nd case were a male Thai patient, ages 72, presented with left weakness and Left facial palsy for 4 hours prior to admission. During admission he Ischemic Stroke Receiving Antipletelet and observe neurosign   .Patient problem  weakness Received treatment from a rehabilitation doctor Patient clinical improve and discharge to home. The final diagnosis was Acute Cerebral infraction at subcortical region at left frontal lobe and left basal ganglia. The admission duration was 3 days.
