Abstract

The objectives of cross-sectional analytical research was to study the factors affecting operation of the District Health Board in Yasothon Province. The population was the District Health Board with 189 people from 9 districts. The tool used was a questionnaire developed by the researcher. The statistics used in the data analysis were frequency, percentage, and multiple regression analysis.

The results found that administrative factors, administrative process, and the implementation of the roles of the District Health Board had high the overall score 56.1%, 69.8% and 72.0%, respectively. Factors in planning, materials, control, personnel management. organization and administration were able to jointly predict 74 percent of the implementation of the roles of District Health Board.

Suggestions: Should improve the planning process, material support, supervision, personnel management, organization and administration to facilitate the operation of the Board.
