Abstract

          Background: COPD with acute exacerbation is an important non-communicable chronic disease and a critical public health problem, causing a higher mortality rate. Standardized and effective critical care is provided. It will help the patient to be safer.

          Objective: This study was a case study to compare two COPD patients with acute exacerbation who were admitted to the inpatient department of Songdao Hospital. The tools used to collect data consisted of: 1) data recording form collecting data from outpatient medical records, data on services provided at the COPD department Outpatient and Inpatient information2) Observation, interviews with patients and relatives, analyzing comparative data according to the health pathological pattern. Symptoms and treatment3) Nursing record form by using the concept of a patient assessment form based on a health model 11Gordon's scheme To know the problems and needs of the patients. The information obtained can be used to plan nursing care for COPD patients with acute exacerbations, determine nursing diagnoses, and evaluate nursing outcomes. in 3 phases: critical phase, recovery phase and pre-sale period
