Abstract

     This quasi-experimental research aimed to develop of a Education practice Guidelines for Cataract Surgery Patients at the cataract surgery, before and after comparison knowledge scores due to Education Practice guidelines for cataract surgery ped-eye department in Praarjanphan Arjaro hospital, Sakon Nakhon province. The samples 20 patients of cataracts surgery ped-eye department in Praarjanphan Arjaro hospital, Sakon Nakhon province. The research was conducted between July and August 2022. Instruments consisted of guidelines for education was modified and developed based on Deming Cycle, and collect to data by knowledge of check-list. Data were analyzed by
descriptive statistics comparing knowledge scores using paired t-test statistics.

     The research findings revealed that after receiving knowledge from the Education practice Guidelines at cataract surgery patients. The Patients had knowledge of score at higher than before was significantly increased after received health education program at .05 (p < 0.001) (t = 62.56, 95% CI = 11.16 - 11.93).
