The purpose of this research was to develop and study the effect of using the emergency medical service
access model for stroke patients. research model workshop (Action Research) The samples were 3 groups : 28 people at risk of stroke, 32 people from community leaders, and a group of health service units. 31 stakeholders. Tools used. There was a general information questionnaire, a questionnaire on knowledge and access to emergency medical services, a satisfaction questionnaire, and a development participation questionnaire. Analysis of general data, participation and satisfaction data, knowledge score data with descriptive statistics. Frequency distribution, percentage, mean and standard deviation, comparative analysis of knowledge data using Dependent pair t-test.
The research findings were as follows : 1. The knowledge of stroke and access to services among the 3
sample groups before and after development showed that The average score on knowledge of the sample group in general has an increase in average Statistically significant at 0.05 (P value<0.05). 2. Satisfaction after development found that satisfaction with development activities The 3 groups of samples were more satisfied. From before, moderate development After the development has increased to a high level in every aspect. 3. Participation in the development of the emergency medical service model. After development found that participation before development was moderate. After the development, participation increased to a high level in all aspects. 4. The results of the development resulted in a model for taking care of stroke patients to be able to access services more quickly and more timely. 5. Patients are more knowledgeable about disease/symptom awareness/emergency channels and access to emergency medical services more quickly and timely. Important indicators about the Stroke Fast Track system : 100% of the treatment received within 3 hours passed the criterion, and the accessibility of services with the 1669 system increased from 24.20% to 31.59%.
