Enhancement of health literacy in solving elderly mental health problems among village health volunteers Non Laem Thong Subdistrict Sahatsakhan District Kalasin

Abstract

     This study was action research aimed to study health literacy in solving elderly mental health
problems of village health volunteers and health literacy enhancement in solving elderly mental health problems of village health volunteers. Non Laem Thong Subdistrict Sahatsakhan District Kalasin Province. There is a study period between June 2022 to September 2022, totaling 4 months. Sample size were 100 Village health volunteers Non Laem Thong Subdistrict Sahatsakhan District Kalasin Province, collect data from questionnaires. Data were analyzed by content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Dependent t-test.
     The results of the study revealed that the health literacy in solving mental health problems of the
elderly among village health volunteers. Non Laem Thong Subdistrict Sahatsakhan District Kalasin Province before proceeding Overall and each aspect was at a moderate level. and after operation Overall and each aspect was at the highest level. Comparative results of health literacy in solving elderly mental health problems of village health volunteers Non Laem Thong Subdistrict Sahatsakhan District Kalasin Province
Before and after the operation was significantly different at the .05 level (p < .05), where the mean score after the operation was higher than before.
