Abstract

     This study is action research. by the community participating in the study The purpose of this study was to study the development of a community-based health behavior modification model for the working population in chronic non-communicable disease prevention. risk reduction community reduce chronic non-communicable diseases Participants in the research consisted of a group of working people who are at risk for chronic non-communicable diseases. Ban Bak Health Promoting Hospital Area Study period between March 2021 to September 2022. There were 3 phases of the research process, namely 1) situation analysis, 2) service system development, and 3) evaluation. The research tools consisted of a questionnaire on NCDs risk factors and behaviors. The research tools were the community-based health behavior modification model; Data analysis using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

     Research results: 1) from the study of causes And the risk factors that affect the health status of the working population of 50 people found risk factors, including having a waist circumference of 38 people, representing 76.0 percent, having a high blood sugar level of 31 people, representing 62.0 percent, having high blood pressure. The criteria were 37 people, representing 74 percent. In terms of behavior, there were behaviors that risk health, such as having less physical activity of 29 people, representing 58.0 percent, followed by Behavior of eating too sweet, oily, salty, 20 people, representing 40.0% 2) The process of developing a community-based health behavior change model The researcher studied and analyzed the data. Therefore, a community-based health behavior change model was developed and a short mindfulness practice was applied to change behavior. 3) The effect of using a community-based health behavior change model with training short mindfulness When measuring results after 3 months and 6 months of activities, it was found that the risk groups participating in the research There was a change in healthy behaviors in terms of reducing sugar and oily health outcomes. Found after joining the research, it was found that 38 people with excess waist circumference had reduced waist circumference, 6 people, representing 15.78%, were able to control their sugar levels, 9 people, representing 29.03%, were able to control their blood pressure to be within the normal range. 11 people, equivalent to 29.72%
