Development of outpatient medication error monitoring system Huai Mek Hospital Kalasin province.

Abstract

     This research was research and development aimed to study outpatient drug tolerance Huai Mek Hospital Kalasin Province and to study the development of a drug error surveillance system in the outpatient building Huai Mek Hospital Kalasin Province. Study period between April 2022 and March 2023, totaling 12 months, divided into before operation between April 2022 to September 2022 after operation between October 2022 to March 2023. Sample size were Drug Errors, Outpatient Building Huai Mek Hospital Kalasin Province Before the operation during April 2022 to September 2022, after the operation during October 2022 to March 2023, data were collected from the database and analyzed by Content Analysis: Frequency, Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation and Dependent t – test.

     The results of the study revealed that the discrepancy in the drug prescribing process pre-dispensing process Drug combinations with similar characteristics and similar sounds (LASA), dispensing error, and administration error were found to be significantly different at the statistical level. 05 (p < .05), whereby the discrepancy decreases after operation.
