Abstract

     This research was action research aimed to study the readiness of infectious waste management. In the situation of the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and the management of infectious waste In the situation of the outbreak of COVID-19, Field Hospital, Yang Talat District, Kalasin Province There is a study period between June - September 2021, totaling 4 months. Sample size were 37 Personnel involved in the management of infectious waste In the situation of the outbreak of COVID-19, field hospitals Kalasin Province. Collect data from questionnaires. Data were analyzed by content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Independent t – test and Dependent t – test.

     The results of the study revealed that the readiness to manage infectious waste In the situation of the outbreak of COVID-19, Field Hospital, Yang Talat District, Kalasin Province before and after operation Field Hospital No. 7, Field Hospital No. 22 and Field Hospital Ruam, Yang Talat District, Kalasin Province Before and after the operation, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of .05 (p < .05), where the mean score after the operation was higher than before.
