This research was research and development aimed to develop and to study the effects of a participatory nursing service model for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Khao Wong Hospital Kalasin Province Participants were nurses who worked in the outpatient department, male inpatient department, female inpatient department, and home
visit department. The research was conducted between October 2021 and September 2022. Research data were collected by focus group discussion and questionnaire. Content analysis was used. and quantitative data analysis Statistics for frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent Samples were used, with statistical significance at the .05 level.
The research results showed that the development of a participatory nursing service model for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients. Khao Wong Hospital Kalasin Province consists of 6 elements: Patient screening, patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, patient-specific nursing, providing knowledge, giving advice, or teaching patients and their families. and coordination with a multidisciplinary team in continuous care make understanding of the role of nurses in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease After using the participatory nursing care service model for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients increased compared to before the use of the model and the outcomes for the quality of care of patients with COPD after the use of the participatory COPD nursing care service model increased compared to before the use of the This research has suggestions for implementing this approach and continuously evaluating it.
