The effect of a care program for end-stage renal failure patients on outcomes of Palliative care
Abstract
This research was aimed to study the effect of a care program for end-stage renal patients on palliative care outcomes and perceived planning ahead of a calm life in end-stage renal failure patients. 19 cases of terminal illness and 19 caregivers were selected according to the specified criteria. The subjects received a terminal care program built according to Ruland and Moore's late life theory of calm for 1 week. Data were analyzed. with the double tee test statistic
The study found that after the experiment Mean scores for palliative care outcomes by patient perception and by caregiver relatives. It was statistically significantly lower than before the experiment (t = 26.58, p < .001; t = 33.14, p <.001). and according to relatives' caregiver's perception was significantly higher than before the experiment (t = -19.27, p <.001; t = -24.57, p < .001). End-of-life care programs help end-stage cancer patients have better care outcomes and have a
more peaceful end of life This program may be used by health workers in the care of terminally ill cancer patients in other contexts.
