Abstract

     Effects of the program development of technical competency in the assessment of emergency patient condition at the scene for Emergency Medical Responder Phu-Wiang district, KhonKaen Province is quasi-experimental research. One group pre- posttest design was conducted on a population of 64 emergency medical responder in Phu-Wiang district and 11 Unit. Data were collected using knowledge tests (KR-20 = 0.8) and skills scoring form for non-trauma and trauma patients. During April – July 2023 Analyze research results using statistics The Paired-Test found that the comparison of post-training knowledge (Mean = 25.11, S.D. = 4.02) with more statistical significance than before the training (Mean = 17.09, S.D. = 4.5) and comparison of practical skills scoring for trauma care. Statistical  significance of trauma after training (Mean = 5.69, S.D. = 1.23) than before training (Mean = 4.33, S.D. = 1.54) (p-value = 0.01) Comparison of practical skills scoring for Non-trauma care after training (Mean = 5.77, S.D. = 1.11) than before training (Mean = 4.08, S.D. = 1.54) statistically significant (p-value = 0.01) Monitoring and evaluation of emergency care for trauma and non-trauma The three times  were the first 81.10, 92.97, the second 82.42, 92.75, the third 83.08,  82.42, respectively. Compared to post-training skills in the training room (post-training practical skills 80.00%) more than 80%
