Effects of Continuous Labor Support Program on Labor Pain and Childbirth Outcomes among Primiparous Women, Lamphun Hospital

Abstract

     This quasai-experimental research aimed by a two-groups, pretest-posttest design to investigate the effect of the labor support program on the level of pain and on childbirth outcomes of primiparous in the labor room, Lamphun Hospital. Sample size were 25 normal parturients who received continuous labor support from June to September 2023. The research tools included a labor support program developed by the researcher and data collection forms for demographic data, pregnancy-related information, and childbirth outcomes. Pain perception was assessed using a numerical pain rating scale. Data were analysed by descriptive statistics and independent t-tests.
