Community Participation Model in Road Accident Management Chum Chang Subdistrict, Phon Phisai District Nong Khai Province

Abstract

     This research aimed to study the community participation model in road accident management in Chum Chang Subdistrict, Phon Phisai District. Nong Khai Province It is action research (Action Research). The sample group consists of 1. A steering group to find problems. needs of the people and create a model for community participation in road accident management. Purpose Sampling: 46 people selected 2. Results evaluation group There were 45 people who had behaviors at risk for road accidents. Data were collected using questionnaires. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05.

     The research results found that the community participation model in road accident management consists of 5 steps: Step 1: Study the context and analyze the problem. Step 2: Create an action plan to prevent road accidents in the community. Step 3: Implement the action plan by There are 6 activities: 1) creating a database of road accident risk behavior in the community 2) public relations 3) training to provide knowledge on safe driving 4) creating social measures 5) creating good collective consciousness together of the family 6) Improving and correcting risk points, step 4, inspection and evaluation and step 5: analyzing success factors and extracting lessons From the results of work, knowledge in safe driving and motorcycle driving behavior Before and after the operation was different at the statistical significance level of 0.05.
