Abstract

     This study aim to 1) keep patients safe from complications during treatment in the hospital. 2) Empowerment of patients and caregiver of fracture of the cervical spine level with spinal cord injury could care after discharge from hospital. Study with 2 case of the cervical spine level in Orthopedic department Kalasin hospital. Data were collected by patient history, physical examination, laboratory, medical treatment, medical record, interrogation form patient and relative and observation.

     Result; Problem of patients as well 1) Increasing risk of spinal cord injury due to compression fracture 2) Risk of infection in the urinary tract and pressure sore and neumonia 3) Worrying about the disease 4) Risk of mal-nutrition 5) Feeling uncomfortable due to constipation 6) Causing pain due to cervical Nerve root compression 7) Decreasing their value of life 8) Lack of skill comprehensive care when discharge from hospital. Apart from above, there are different nursing diagnosis. 1) Hypotension due to neurogenic shock.  2) Spinal shock 3) Hyperglycemia; depending on the patient’ physical condition, etiology and aggression of accident.
