Abstract

     Chronic kidney disease (CKD) poses a substantial challenge to patients' well-being and healthcare systems worldwide. This study presents the findings of an action research project conducted at the kidney disease clinic of Khao Wong Hospital, Kalasin Province, between October 2022 and May 2023. The primary objective was to investigate a service model's effectiveness in mitigating the progression of CKD in patients with stage 3-4 CKD, aged under 70, who sought treatment at the clinic (n=376). The study employed a multifaceted approach, utilizing tools such as a service model for slowing CKD progression, a treatment history form, and questionnaires. Data analysis encompassed content analysis, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and paired sample t-tests.
