Nursing care for Pediatric patients with acute Asthma at Kalasin Hospital : case study

Abstract

     This study was case study aimed to study and compare history of illness laboratory test results Doctor's treatment plan complications and nursing care for acute asthma in children. Two case studies and suggestions for nursing care for acute asthma in children Kalasin Hospital. Select sample size by purposive selection patients diagnosed by a doctor as having acute asthma. who received treatment in the pediatrics group Kalasin Hospital.
     The results of the study found that case study 1, male, 2 years old, the main symptoms were shortness of breath, experienced shortness of breath 2 hours before coming to the hospital, past history of illness, bronchitis and COVID-19. The family denied any history of allergies. While receiving treatment, he had difficulty breathing and bronchitis. Received treatment with high flow oxygen. flow) and bronchodilator inhaler along with antibiotics after treatment did not cause complications. Symptoms gradually improved The doctor sent it home. Duration of treatment 8 days. Case study 2, female, 4 years old, main symptoms include mucus, had it 3 days before coming to the hospital, past history of illness. Asthma, stopping medicine on its own, and COVID-19, family history of smoking. While receiving treatment, he had acute dyspnea and was treated with a bronchodilator along with antibiotics. After receiving treatment, his symptoms gradually improved. The doctor sent it home. Duration of treatment 3 days.
