Nursing care of Bladder Cancer patients at Kalasin Hospital : case study

Abstract

     This study was case study aimed to comparative study of history, symptoms of illness, treatment plans, occurrence of complications and bladder cancer nursing, two case studies and proposed nursing guidelines for bladder cancer patients. Kalasin Hospital. Selected sample size were purposive selection patients diagnosed with bladder cancer by physician and was admitted to the urological surgery ward Kalasin Hospital.

     The results of the study found that case study number 1, male, age 67 years, had important symptoms, doctor made an appointment to have bladder surgery. Had it 3 months before coming to the hospital, history of co-morbidities, diabetes, high blood pressure. Heart disease and cancer in the left kidney History of continuous medication intake The patient was treated with Radial cystectomy, Left total Nephrectomy, and ileal bladder. After treatment with surgery he passed his critical condition and was monitored for complications. Symptoms gradually improved The doctor sent it home. Duration of treatment 9 days. Case study number 2, male, 57 years old, main symptom: blood in the urine, had it 5 months before coming to the hospital, denies any underlying disease. The patient was treated with CT scan and treated with Radial Cystectomy with ileal conduit with bilateral iliac lymph node dissection. After the surgical treatment he was in critical condition and was monitored for complications. Symptoms gradually improved The doctor sent it home. Duration of treatment 11 days.
