Nursing care of elderly patients receiving general anesthesia for Laparoscopic Colorectal Cancer Surgery Kalasin Hospital : 2 Case Studies
Abstract
This study was case study aimed to 1) Nursing practice Holistic nursing care for elderly patients receiving general anesthesia for Laparoscopic Colorectal Cancer Surgery 2) Elderly patients requiring general anesthesia for Laparoscopic Colorectal Cancer Surgery is safe without complications. Data were collected from in-patient medical records of elderly patients with underlying diseases and CA colon and CA rectum requiring general anesthesia for Laparoscopic Colorectal Cancer Surgery Kalasin Hospital . Data were collected 1 year in 2022 by applying Gordon's Health Model concept and Orem's self-care deficit theory.
The results showed that the two patients had the same and different problems. The researcher therefore analyzed the problems of nursing in a holistic way used to define the nursing diagnosis and nursing process both before, during and after anesthesia that covers physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual aspects as well as bringing knowledge skills and experiences from the practice of anesthesia for elderly patients were used. It was found that the patients were safe no complication.
