The study of the development of a home visit program for health promotion of mothers and low birth weight infants Kamphaeng Saen Hospital Nakhon Pathom Province

Abstract

     The research employed research and development. The objective was to studied the health of mothers and low birth weight infants, studied of home visiting programs to promote the health of mothers and low birth weight infants and develop a home visiting program to promote the health of mothers and low birth weight infants. Kamphaeng Saen Hospital Nakhon Pathom Province. Sample size include:The experimental group in Phase 1, research phase, consisted of 33 people and the experimental group in Phase 2, development phase, consisted of 25 people. Data collection utilized a home visit assessment form and a satisfaction assessment form designed for the development of home visiting programs. Comparative analysis involved the use of Paired sample t-test statistics, with a statistical significance level set at 0.05.

     Results of the study: The results of comparing the differences in program means in phases 1 and 2 after the experiment found that F: Fetal well being infant health, S1: Self-care, self-care, S2: Home Surveys. Environment, relationships, and S3: Spiritual health, mind and spirit, when comparing the average difference in scores After the Phase 2 trial, the mean score after the Phase 1 trial was significantly higher than the mean score after the Phase 1 trial at p-value <0.05.
