Nursing care of patient acute ischemic stroke receiving antithrombolytic : Case study 2 case in Intensive Care Unit Kuchinarai Crown Prince Hospital

Abstract

     This study was case study aimed study nursing care for acute ischemic stroke patients receiving thrombolytic drug in the intensive care unit. To study and compare nursing care for acute ischemic stroke patients who received thrombolytic drung in the intensive care unit at Kuchinarai Crown Prince Hospital: case study 2 case. The study instruments consisted of (1) Medical record (2) History taking (3) Observation . The collected  data were analyzed by comparing  Health pattern ,Pathology, Signs and Symptoms ,Treatment ,Nursing Diagnosis and Nursing care.

     Results: case 1, A 47-year-old Thai male with unknown underlying presented with weakness in the left arm and leg, along with unclear speech for three hours.He was diagnosed with Acute Ischemic Stroke.He had high blood pressure, He treated with intravenous (IV) antihypertensive drug before receiving thrombolytic drug. There were no complications, and he was hospitalized for four days before being discharged home.Case 2,A 63-year-old Thai male  with unknown underlying presented with facial palsy and weakness in the left arm and leg for 20 minutes. He was diagnosed with Acute Ischemic Stroke and receiving thrombolytic drug. There were no complications, and he was hospitalized for four days before being discharged home.
