Nursing care for the patient CA bladder on underwent radical cystectomy with neobladder: A comparative 2 case study

Abstract

     This study was case study aimed to study how to manage patient who undergo radical cystectomy with neobladder in CA bladder. Studying case of patients who undergo radical cystectomy with neobladder by selecting sample by specific 2 cases

     Result: The result from these 2 cases study undergo radical cystectomy with neobladder with appendectomy. The first case uses surgery time 7 hours 16 minutes. Loss of blood throughout the surgery period until the completion of 2,000 ml. Hospital duration of 60 days. Because of COVID 19 patients infected with PCR detected results on May 12, 2022. All of them had received good caring through the crisis and complications. Then all of patient can be discharge and go back home on July 8, 2022. The second case uses surgery time 8 hours 50 minutes. Loss of blood throughout the surgery period until the completion of 2,650 ml. Hospital duration of 30 days. All of them had received good caring through the crisis and complications. Then all of patient can be discharge and go back home on April 25, 2023. From these case study shown that nurse who taking care of these patients need to have specific knowledge and competency to providing care of radical cystectomy with neobladder patient.
