Abstract

     This study was case study aimed to use as a nursing practice guideline for liver cancer patients undergoing treatment by intravenous chemotherapy.

     Methods: This study is a case-specific study. with radiotherapy methods in liver cancer patients undergoing treatment by intravenous chemotherapy. Khon Kaen Hospital Study from June 2022 to October 2023, 2 cases, using the concept of health status assessment according to Gordon's 11 models. collect data History of illness, treatment, and nursing from medical records Bring it to the nursing process in nursing practice to achieve results, analyze and determine nursing diagnoses. nursing care plan nursing practice Evaluate and summarize results.

            Results: Both case studies were treated with TACE. Case study number 1 Be prepared before treatment Caring for low platelet status, complications during treatment, namely Bradycardia after treatment There is a risk of an imbalance of fluids and minerals. The examination and treatment time is 45 minutes, including the hospital stay of 4 days. Case study number 2. Be prepared before treatment with low HCT and low platelet. There were complications during treatment, such as Bradycardia after treatment. There is a risk of an imbalance of water and mineral salts. There is a hematoma 3 centimeters in diameter. There is a risk of infection after treatment. from the procedure and low immunity from chemotherapy drugs The examination took 1 hour and 45 minutes, including a hospital stay of 5 days.
