Model of promoting the development of children 3 - 5 years with a participatory learning process at Ban Na Ta Liu Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Khao Wong District, Kalasin Province.

Abstract

     This study was Participatory Action Research (PAR) aimed to Study the development of children 3 - 5 years old and model for promoting the development of children 3 - 5 years old with the participatory learning process of Ban Na Ta Liu Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Khao Wong District, Kalasin Province. The study period was between October 2022 - September 2023. Sample size were 76 children aged 3 - 5 years from Ban Na Ta Liu Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Khao Wong District, Kalasin Province. Data were collected from questionnaires and child development assessments between 3 and 5 years old. Data were analyzed by Content analysis (Content Analysis) frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation and Dependent t – test.

     The results of the study found that after the operation Of the 33 children suspected of being delayed, 24 were developing appropriately for their age, accounting for 72.73 percent. There were also 9 children who needed to be referred for stimulation in the TDA4I program, accounting for 27.27 percent, and their parents or caregivers had knowledge about Child development increased by 96 percent and children spent free time at home with activities that stimulate development.
