Evaluation of the provision of primary care services in the Phibun Mangsahan District Health Service Network

This research was survey research aimed to evaluate the provision of primary care unit services in the Phibun Mangsahan District Health Service Network between 5 - 25 January 2024. The study included 159 personnel involved in the provision of services at the primary care unit of the Phibun Mangsahan District Health Service Network, 1,336 people receiving services at the primary care unit. The research tools consisted of questionnaire and evaluation form. Analyze general data of the sample. with statistics on frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation and analyze data for evaluation of primary care unit services in all 4 areas, namely with statistics, percentages (Percentage), averages (Means), and content analysis classified by item. with average statistics and standard deviation Compare the difference in means with dependent T-test. It was found that the development of service potential of primary care units is as follows: 3 PCUs, 2 NPCUs, 13 Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospitals. In providing PCU and NPCU services, there will be a family physician with a multidisciplinary team providing services 3 times per week There will be a family practitioner available once a month.
The results of the evaluation that found the highest average satisfaction were the evaluation of the Context Evaluation the average of satisfaction was 4.10, followed by the appropriateness of the project organizing process ,the evaluation of the sufficiency of Input factors used in project implementation and success according to project objectives and goals, average satisfaction scores of 3.97, 3.78, and 3.52, respectively. The mean control of blood sugar levels of patients in the PCU / NPCU service unit was better than other primary care units at a statistical significance of P < 0.05, but the mean satisfaction of service recipients with the PCU / NPCU service unit was NPCU and other primary care units were not different at the statistical significance level of P < 0.05.
