This study is a case study. The objective was to study nursing care for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease patient at Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Asthma clinic This is a case is a 68-year-old man with a 6-year history illness of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Hypertension, and Dyslipidemia for 10 years.
The results of the study found that nursing care includes Improving the efficiency of gas exchange that occurs in the lungs between alveolar air and the blood of the pulmonary capillaries, Increasing endurance for activities, Removing waste from the body, and slowing down the progression of kidney disease, Promoting nutritional status, controlling the symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with acute exacerbation, Prevention of right heart failure, preventing complications from Hypertension and Dyslipidemia, reduce patient anxiety. The results of nursing care make every problem of the patient improve.
