Abstract

The objective of this quasi-experimental study was to compare the radiation dose to the patient's results from computerized tomography before and after parameter adjustment. The sample groups were Patients over 20 years of age come to check with computed tomography. At the radiology work group Udon Thani Hospital. By selecting a specific The sample group was 52. The instruments used in the research were: Radiation data record form Samples were collected from the PACS system of Udon Thani Hospital 2 groups, Group 1 from January 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020 and Group 2 from June 23, 2020 to 31. August 2020 The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics central tendency including  median.
When comparing the radiation dose, the patient's results were obtained from the computed tomography of Udon Thani Hospital. Under the same number of scan cycles or phases. Found that chest computed tomography Upper abdomen and entire abdomen Before adjusting the parameters, the median was 19.44, 34.35, and 45.94 mSv. After adjusting the parameters, the mean was 7.87, 15.33, and 20.23 mSv.
