This research was action research aimed to study the results of developing a care system for dependent elderly people. Ban Phaeng Hospital Nakhon Phanom Province. Sample size were the elderly who are dependent, totaling 67 people. Tools Used in the research was a general information questionnaire. Assessment of ability to perform daily living according to the Barthel ADL Index (Activity Daily Living: ADL) of the Bureau of Elderly Health, Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health. Quality of life assessment form for dependent elderly people Using a short version of the World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire, Thai version, care system for dependent elderly people. Ban Phaeng Hospital Guide to caring for the elderly who are dependent Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to find frequencies, percentages, and standard deviations. Differences were tested for comparison using Paired t-test statistics.
Results of the study : 1) Ability to carry out daily activities according to the Barthel ADL Index (Activity Daily Living: ADL) of dependent elderly people. After the system development, the average value increased more than before the system development. Statistically significant at 0.05 2) Quality of life of the elderly who are dependent.
