Strengthening health literacy towards health care behavior of new type 2 diabetes patients in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District.

This study was action research aimed to study the health literacy and health behavior of new type 2 diabetic patients and to study the enhancement of health literacy of new type 2 diabetic patients in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District. The study period is between August and November 2024. Data is collected from questionnaires. Data is analyzed by content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent t – test.
The results of the study found that after the implementation, the health literacy and health behavior of new type 2 diabetic patients in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, overall and in each aspect, were at the highest level. The health literacy and health behavior of new type 2 diabetic patients in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District before and after the implementation were found to be significantly different at the 0.05 level. The health behavior of new type 2 diabetic patients in Mueang Nakhon Pathom District after the implementation was better than before the implementation.
