Development of care and treatment model for diabetic patients at Kutbak Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province.

Abstract

     This research and development study aimed to study the situation of diabetic patient care and treatment and to study the development of diabetic patient care and treatment models at Kutbak Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province. The study period was from September to December 2024, a total of 4 months. The sample group consisted of 2,158 diabetic patients at Kutbak Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province, according to the inclusion criteria. Data were collected from questionnaires and medical records using content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent t – test.
     The results of the study found that after the operation, the accumulated blood sugar level (HbA1C) of diabetic patients after the operation of the development of the diabetic patient care and treatment model at Kut Bak Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province, there were 977 patients with A1C values ​​higher than 7, accounting for 45.3 percent, and 1,168 patients with A1C values ​​lower than 7, accounting for 54.1 percent. Understanding of diabetic patient care at sub-district health promotion hospitals of the personnel in the Kut Bak Hospital service network, health literacy of diabetic patients at Kut Bak Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province, health behavior of diabetic patients at Kut Bak Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province before and after the operation of diabetic patients at Kut Bak Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province, found that there was a statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level, where after the operation, the accumulated blood sugar level of diabetic patients at Kut Bak Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Province was better than before the operation.
