Abstract

     This study was a quasi-experimental research with two groups measuring results after the experiment. (Posttest-Only Design with a Comparison Group) Objective: Develop comprehensive care for patients undergoing same-day surgery. and study the effectiveness of comprehensive care for patients undergoing same-day surgery. Collect information by collecting data Using a questionnaire on the suitability of care guidelines for patients undergoing same-day surgery in a comprehensive manner. Sample size consisted of 30 patients undergoing same-day surgery. Selected specifically. The data was collected between October - November 2024 and analyzed using descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and standard deviation. and t-test statistics.
     The results of the study found that the results of care for patients in the experimental group in terms of complications encountered after surgery within 24 hours were surgical wound pain (PS ≤3 points). At the passing level There is an average score for complications encountered after surgery or procedures within 24 hours. After the experimental group received care according to the guidelines for comprehensive same-day surgery care, Statistically significant at the .1 level. And complications found within 1 week, namely surgical wound pain (PS ≤3 points), were at the level of passing the criteria.
