The Model of Drug Addiction Rehabilitation Treatment in Community solation (CI) Nakalomrak Center, Buengkan Province.

Abstract

     This study is an action research project aimed at developing a rehabilitation model for substance addiction through the use of a temporary rehabilitation center. The objectives are to identify a suitable rehabilitation model and evaluate its effectiveness at the Nakalomrak Temporary Rehabilitation Center in So Phisai District, Bueng Kan Province. The sample group consists of 20 healthcare team members, 10 relevant stakeholders, and 90 substance users. The intervention applies a curriculum based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with the PDCA (Deming Cycle) framework. The research instruments include questionnaires, and data analysis is conducted using descriptive statistics, such as frequency, percentage, mean, and Dependent t-test.
     Results: The results indicate that: 1) The overall intention of substance users to quit increased significantly, as reflected in the higher mean score. 2) Substance use behavior of participants decreased in terms of frequency and severity, resulting in a lower mean score. 3) The overall level of substance use significantly decreased at a statistical significance of 0.05. 4) The feasibility of implementing the rehabilitation model at Nakalomrak Temporary Rehabilitation Center was found to be 100% and 5) The overall feasibility of using the center for substance addiction rehabilitation was confirmed at 100%.
