Abstract

     These quasi experiment research aimed to develop the effects of a positive psychology and learning psychosocial therapy program in patients with schizophrenia with severe aggressive behavior. The program divided into 3 phases: 1) Develop program 2) Test the program, and 3) test the results of the program. The participants were 30 schizophrenia patients who admitted to the inpatient department at Loei Rajanagarindra Psychiatric Hospital.
     The research instruments consisted of A positive psychology and learning psychosocial therapy program , Prasri Violence Severity Scale (PVSS) and Quality of life scale l(WHOQOL–BREF–THAI). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, repeated measure ANOVA, and content analysis. The results of the research positive psychology and learning psychosocial therapy programs aimed to increase your positive self-perception. The study showed that the differences in mean scores of aggressive behavior and mean scores of quality of life between the experimental and control groups before and after the end of the program at 1-month follow-up were statistically significant (F = 29.9, p < .001; F = 0.025, p < 0.87 ), respectively.
