Nursing care for children with pneumonia and acute respiratory failure : a case study of two patients.

Abstract

     This case study aimed to study nursing care for children with pneumonia and respiratory failure at Kalasin Hospital. Study format: A case study of a pediatric pneumonia patient with respiratory failure. 2 people choose the design. Specific to patients admitted to Kalasin Hospital. From August to September 2024, the tools used in the study included data records from patient medical records. In patient care, nursing outcomes are evaluated in 3 phases as follows: Critical Care Rehabilitation nursing and discharge nursing by determining nursing diagnoses, providing nursing care, and evaluating outcomes.

     Results: Based on the case studies of both cases, it was found that nurses play an important role in caring for patients. From collecting information, taking history, assessing symptoms, monitoring the patient's symptoms. Organizing nursing activities to meet the needs and problems of each patient.
