Research and development of nursing innovations using picture cards and word cards and tostimulate language development in children aged 0-5 years in Nong Chik District Pattani Province.

Abstract

     This research was research and development aimed at developing innovations and evaluating their efficiency. and the effectiveness of picture cards and word cards to stimulate language development in children aged 0-5 years in the Nong Chik District area Pattani Province. The sample group was purposively selected from the screening of 50 children. Found 30 children with suspected delays and delays, consisting of (1) children aged 0-5 years who came to receive services from the Child Care Clinic, 13 people, and the Good Child Clinic, 10 people. and from evaluating development in pilot communities Pattani Province, 7 people, total 30 people (2) parents or caregivers of sample children, 30 people, research conducted from October 2020 to September 2022 The tools used consist of 2 parts: (1) The tools used in the experiment include innovative picture cards and word cards. The researchers created and developed it from an assessment manual to help early childhood children with developmental problems (TEDA4I) and a manual for basic speaking training. By involving parents or caregivers in stimulating development. (2) Tools used to collect data Child development assessment form Using the DSPM, TEDA4I evaluation manual, innovation efficiency evaluation form, and satisfaction questionnaire that the researcher created himself by collecting related literature. Data were analyzed using percentages, means and standard deviations.

     The results of the study found that the innovative picture cards and flashcards were convenient to use and had clear content. Easy to understand, the selection of materials is safe. It is interesting, stimulates children to learn and is useful in use. Parents have a higher level of satisfaction. Children's language development has improved or is within the normal range, 80 percent.
