The objective of this study was to combine physiological knowledge with concepts from Thai traditional medicine in order to create a potent herbal steam formula that could alleviate stress in hypertensive patients. Methodology of Research Phase 1: Formulate a herbal steam formula to alleviate stress in people with hypertension. Phase 2: Investigate the efficacy of the herbal steam formula in alleviating stress in hypertensive patients. Experimental Design: A clinical trial to assess stress levels. The independent variables, which were divided into three categories, were employed in the investigation: 1. The herbal steam method was subdivided into three approaches: the standard herbal steam formula, the developed herbal steam formula, and the conventional steam method. 2. Gender and 3. Age. Stress was the dependent variable.
Findings of the Investigation: The stress level analysis of the herbal steam group classified the results using multiple analysis of variance, indicating that all groups experienced a statistically significant decrease in mean values (p<.001). The mean value of the group that received the herbal steam formula that was developed decreased from 41.72 to 28.52 (t = 7.941). The group that is administered the conventional herbal steam formula The group that received a steam bath experienced a decrease in mean score from 42.84 to 30.04 (t = 9.760), while the group that received a usual steam bath experienced a decrease from 38.08 to 33.36 (t = 7.183). The study's findings demonstrated the potential of Thai traditional medical wisdom to enhance mental health and alleviate tension in patients with non-communicable chronic diseases. The long-term effectiveness and safety of the drug formula should be systematically assessed through additional clinical studies.
