Effect of post-anesthetic care in patients undergoing colonoscopy for colon cancer screening at Kuchinarai Crown Prince Hospital, 2025.

Abstract

     The study of the outcome of care after anesthesia in patients who underwent colonoscopy screening at Kuchinarai Crown Prince aimed to study the outcome of care after anesthesia in patients who underwent colonoscopy screening at Kuchinarai Crown Prince and the outcome of care after anesthesia in patients who underwent colonoscopy screening at Kuchinarai Crown Prince. This was an action research study with a research period from February to April 2025, a total of 3 months. The sample consisted of 87 patients who underwent colonoscopy screening at Kuchinarai Crown Prince between April and June 2025. Data were collected from questionnaires and analyzed using content analysis, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent t – test.

     The results of the study found that after the operation, the understanding of receiving anesthesia of patients who came to screen for colon cancer by colonoscopy at Kuchinarai Crown Prince, both overall and in each aspect, was at the highest level. When comparing the understanding of receiving anesthesia of patients who came to screen for colon cancer by colonoscopy at Kuchinarai Crown Prince before and after the operation, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level. The understanding of receiving anesthesia of patients who came to screen for colon cancer by colonoscopy at Kuchinarai Crown Prince after the operation was better than before the operation.
