Development of herbal compress products for the elderly in Khlong Nam Sai Subdistrict, Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province.

Abstract

     This research on the development of herbal compress products for the elderly group in Khlong Nam Sai Subdistrict, Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province, with the following objectives: 1) To study the potential of the elderly group in producing and developing herbal compress products in Khlong Nam Sai Subdistrict, Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province. 2) To develop and promote the production of herbal compresses by the elderly group to be appropriate and consistent with the context of Khlong Nam Sai Subdistrict, Aranyaprathet District, Sa Kaeo Province. This action research using a workshop process with a group of older adults from 12 villages, comprising 25 participants.

     The study results found that 1) in terms of the production process, the elderly group prepared herbs by adding the Chaya spinach vegetable ingredient and prepared the white horse pattern woven cloth of the Khlong Nam Sai women's weaving group. 2) In terms of herbal compress packaging design and promoting online marketing knowledge to older people. 3) In terms of budget preparation, training is provided to equip participants with knowledge on recording the group's income and expenses, as well as preparing the group's financial statements.
