This prospective quasi-experimental study pretest-posttest design with the objective to develop platform for analysis and evaluation in elderly and compared balance test results from Smart Balance software, Time up and go test (TUG) and sit-to-stand test (STS) before and after using platform Before and after using the balance analysis and assessment platform for 8 weeks at Bang Klam Hospital, Songkhla Province. Data were analyzed using the paired t-test.
The results showed that 29 volunteers participated in the study. After using the platform, significant improvements were found in balance test results measured by the Smart Balance software during single-leg standing on both the non-dominant and dominant legs, as well as in the Timed Up and Go (TUG) and Sit-to-Stand (STS) tests, with statistical significance at p=0.001. There was also a significant correlation between increased TUG scores and improvements measured by the Smart Balance software during single-leg standing on the non-dominant leg (r=0.772, p<0.001) and the dominant leg (r=0.566, p=0.001).
