Development of nursing guidelines to prevent hospital acquired pneumonia at Suwannaphum Hospital.

Abstract

     This research was action research aimed todevelopment of nursing guidelines to prevent hospital acquired pneumonia at Suwannaphum Hospital. Data collection in one group between February 2025 and April 2025. The population used in research are nursing personnel with experience for 34 cases. Data were collection by study of the practice of nursing caring for patients consist 2 parts, personal, information Nursing care to prevent pneumonia and nursing to preventing pneumonia

     The results of the study found that professional nurses were female, 97.06 % , with majority aged 22-29 years (52.94 percent), working experience between 1-3 years (35.29 percent), and training (75.56 percent). That nursing practices to prevent pneumonia overall practices aspects (91.38%) were very good. The practices that were most performed were tube feeding (98.89%), hand hygiene (94.12%), suction (89.04%), and oral care (81.76%) were very good.
